He has been strong in academics right from his school days. A gold medallist in Senior Secondary Certificate exam from his school and an outstanding student from Ramnivas Ramnarain Ruia college for Higher Secondary Certificate exam, he completed his graduation (MBBS) from prestigious Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai. He completed his post-graduation (MS) from Bharati Hospital in Sangli, where he again stood as gold medallist in the University.
He then completed his surgical training for phacoemulsification under well known surgeon and teacher Dr.Anil Kulkarni from Miraj, Maharashtra.
Currently he is attached with prestigious Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital (AJEH) in Mumbai as an Anterior Segment Consultant and Surgeon. He is also the chief surgical trainer for national and international candidates at AJEH.
He has a keen interest in the field of study & research with multiple studies undergoing at present.
Performed around 1200 SICS and 450 Phacoemulsification surgeries till date, alongwith Glaucoma surgeries, Secondary IOLs.
Qualification:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with one year compulsory rotatory internship from Topiwala National Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital
- Master of Surgery (MS) in Ophthalmology from BVDU Medical college and hospital, Sangli, Maharashtra (Gold Medal in MS Ophthalmology)
